The tech manual # you posted will be dependent on if Moto101's 2040 was built for sales in N America with 3 cyl engine or European countries with 4 cyl engine. Plus early 2040 built for N American sales up to serial # 266,750 had open center hyd's while later models had closed center hyd's.
