Buying Advice John Deere 2002 GX 345

Just wondering how much a 2002 John Deere GX 345 is worth. It has a 20hp Kawasaki liquid cooled engine, power steering and a 54" cut. It only has 188 hrs and has been kept in an enclosed environment. Thanks.

I would say with that low hour reading, if the condition of the machine matches it, it would be worth about $3500 or a bit more. Lots of people disconnect the hour meter while they own a machine and then reconnect it prior to selling to make it look more appealing.

For comparison, my mom bought the older version (regular 345) 2 years ago. Same 54" cut and power steering with 650 hrs for $2300. I thought it was a pretty good deal. These are equivalent to the new x540's for about $8k. From all that I gather, life expectancy is usually around 2000-2500 hrs on these machines before major repairs.
