John Deere 1327 MoCo inspection

I am going to look at a used John Deere 1327 MoCo tomorrow but unfortunately I am unfamiliar with what to inspect on a rotary cutter and impeller system. Can anyone give me some idea of what are the key points to inspect on this machine? I understand I need to try to verify bearings etc, but am curious what are the problem areas of this mower.

Is the 1327 a reliable machine? How effective is it on grass type hay?

IIRC the 1327 is getting old. It has the Kuhn style cutter bar that must be seperated for repairs. I'd suggest to check for wear(play) between the gears on the cutterbar. IIRC the 1327 cut grass well.
