John Deere 111H fuel pump hoses

Hi everyone:

We were gifted a 1985 John Deere 111H (hydrostatic) lawn tractor. I've found a diagram that shows the vacuum line and 2 hoses leaving the fuel pump, but we don't where each of them goes to, where they terminate. Can someone please help?

pretty simple really, one is fuel inlet from tank, one is fuel out to carb, the vacuum line goes to a port on the block

Fabulous! Thanks. Just one other detail: does the fuel line from the tank go to the bottom right port on the fuel pump?

There should be one port that is connected to the center of the pump. That is the vacuum port. hook up the line from the tank to one of the other ports, crank over, if if pumps fuel, then hook up other line, if not
reverse the hose to the other port. and try again

If you are looking at above picture, the inlet from the tank would be on the right top, vacuum, then outlet to carb.

I cant tell much from that pic. You have the hoses hooked up to it so is it not working? have you tried it the way they are hooked up?
Engine model #s would be a help.

Sure, and before I forget it, thanks for your help. I am attaching more photos for you to see the piece we mean. And here are the details about the tractor and engine: John Deere C111H ID#222862; Engine model 284707, type 1026-E1, Briggs & Straton 12.0 HP.

if memory serves me correct, the fuel inlet is at top, the vacuum is pointing down out the bottom, the othe toward carb is out to carb. lke i said eariler, hook up vacuum and inlet, crank over and see if pumping fuel (into can or jar).
