John Deere 111

Hey folks, I have a 111 and its been running good lately except I have a starting problem. When I turn the key, the starter turns, but it doesn't spin up and engage the flywheel. It just sits there and spins. Any ideas?

remove the starter and unstick the starter gear, then apply a small amount of grease to the worm part of the starter after cleaning the worm drive with some solvent.
