I did not have the correct fitting to test the charge pressure going to get one today they sure do make it tough to get in there with the loader frame right there. Anyways a local JD mechanic said to try and change the ground speed sensor- i changed that with no cure to problem. I am going threw calibration and get threw fwd and rev pedal cal, inching lever cal, and right after i do the throttle position cal ( idle speed and then WOT) it throws code for engine speed sensor and fwd/rev proportional drive sol. If i test the eng speed sensor, i am in range at slow idle and fast idle. Wonder why it is throwing a eng speed sensor code?? Possibly a issue with ring gear on flywheel?

Can you give me the code numbers it's giving you? It very well could be the throttle potentiometer

How are you test the flywheel speed sensor? Ohms? Continuity will not always show an issue with a hall effect switch/sensor. The true way to check a speed sensor like this is with an oscilloscope. But not everyone has one at their finger tips. Are you moving all your functions very slowly while calibrating?

Code 4 (short, long, long, short) Engine Speed Sensor. Performance loss.Check to be sure sensor mounted on right hand side of flywheel housing is fully plugged in. and code 10 (short, short, long, long) Proportional Solenoid Valve. No drive in either direction.Contact your John Deere dealer.

I tested the flywheel speed sensor by making sure there was 5 volt in, and then the manual i have says to check between two wires (b and c i think it was) for Hz. I forgot the value it said but it was in specification of the manual at low idle and fast idle. I thought i was moving everything slowly. All functions calibrate out fine except when i get to the end of the throttle pot.

Sounds like you have done the eat one could ask. Let me look up the codes in service advisor and get back to you

After looking into this, I think you are going to have Service Advisor hooked to it. Also says that if your engine is ECU controlled you don't have to cal the throttle unless the ECU was cleared of values before now. If so you may have to cal it outside of the trans controller.

There is a DTAC case on this situation that is about 4 miles long. Lol. Without service advisor I think you are up **** Creek
