I have a 1986 John Deere 1050. When lowering or raising the 3pt hitch it will not stop at the desired height. To explain further; if I raise the lever, it will continue to raise to max height unless I bump the lever down about half an inch. Once I do that the attachment will stay in place. When lowering it the same thing occurs. I have made all of the adjustments that I can think to make with no positive results. If anyone has any suggestions they are greatly appreciated.
