john deere 1020 tire and rim switch

hello everyone im new here on this site i live in south west ga i have a jd 1020 i belive its a 1966 model i have 12-4-36 tires on 11 inch rims on the rear and am having a really hard time finding tires and i also need to replace a rim which has rusted out what i would like to do is switch to a different size but would have to change the wheel centers does anyone have any suggestions on what to do with this situation thanks

I would look for some good used wheels and tires, IIRC Dothan Alabama used to have places with lots of used farm machinery. Might be worth a trip over there to see what you could find. I would think the wheels you need would be a popular one.

Other than that try machinefinder or tractorhouse.
