john deere f935 . Yes, I own it
Hello,
My f935 was working fine until I got stuck in the swale. I used my minivan to pull the f935 off the swale successfully.
However, after that it no longer crank when i turn the key switch. Yes. I bypass the seat switch and I also heard 2 noises (click and a low volume roaring sound). I researched and found out there are switches that might prevent the turn-on voltage to the solenoid ( pto, transmission neutral, pedal brake, seat ). I am not familiar with the locations of these switches and seek help. Please help me with : the diagram showing where they are, how to fix them correctly.
Thank you kindly. My email is cbcjinvestments@yahoo.com
Cheers

The click you are hearing is the fuel shutoff solenoid and the low humming sound is likely the electric fuel pump. So I am guessing your dash gauges are lighting up properly as well so it sounds like your "run" position on the key ignition is working properly but you are not getting voltage to your starter solenoid.

This could be the safety switches you mentioned, bad key ignition or even a faulty starter solenoid. Best we to try and find it is to get yourself a test light and start verifying voltage at various locations.

Even a battery that is getting towards its ending days can have enough juice to run the low voltage stuff but will fall flat on its face when it tries to crank.

It's a YANMAR.

Yanmar 3TNA72.
You will need the Yanmar 3TNA72 Engine Technical Service Manual.
Found on the YTOG for free.
Login to the site, find WIKI and them to manuals.

YANMAR 3TN63L 3TN66L 3TNA68L 3TNA72L 3TN75L 3TN78L-T 4TN78L-T 4TNA78L-T 3-4TN82T 3TN84L-T SERVICE MANUAL.pdf

Then look at the TROUBLE SHOOTING section. (y)

The first thing I would do is turn the key to crank position while sitting in the seat. At the same time cycle the forward and reverse pedals. It could be something as simple as the pedals not being in neutral.
