John 955 hood Hinges picture needed

I inherited a 1995 955. It basically came partially assembled. The hood hinge setup doesnt seem to allow me to close the hood down. A picture of a working hinge setup on a 955 would be great.

Have you tried jdparts? They show the respective parts and schematics of how they are arranged and put together.

jdparts.com and there is a free registration. Follow the prompts and go to the alphabetic listing and to H for hood and grille parts

The tech manual for the 955 didn't show anything that I found.

How did you make out with the older 955 with the bad engine?

The parts schematic looks like I might have the mounts flipped. Found a pic from another forum that reinforces that.

The 955 has been sitting. Sold my other tractor so I could get the 955 back into shape.
