lol... I am surprised it took this long for somebody to mention depends.

I am getting a popup type privacy shelter and will just used a plastic jug or the plastic portable urinal. When it is good and hot, I normally dont need to go to often anyhow. I will be ok as far as having to take a duecer.....will have to hold it til I go home. In case of an emergency, the place is fairly close to a golf course and I could go there to use the bathroom. Or I gues I could be like a cat and use the sandbox.... ha

I grew up in a different time, I guess! An outhouse was our"bathroom" until I was grown. I built this one for the picnic ground at the farm, with extra space so it could be used as a "changing room", if needed:

Out houses are great for the long term, but for temporary use I bought a Reliance porta potty (bucket with toilet seat and lid) . Bought some camping toilet bags with gel inside and was amazed at how functional it was. I bought it for my little vanagon but have never had to use it. So when my drains were out of commission for three days this spring and I was unwilling to crutch out to the outhouse in the dark... Voila! The bucket was amazing, just parked it next to the toilet. I have a different version out at the cabin, without the bag- just add water and fertilize trees!
