Bought one of these last summer. Great machine for what I do.
I removed the batteries (4 six volt) from the machine to keep them on a battery tender in the garage all winter. Now I can't remember which cables go where.
There are two long leads on each side of the machine from inside. Both cables on one side say "Battery - left side". So I attached both to the negative terminals on the left side batteries. Then there is a short cable that I attached between the positives on those batteries.
On the other side of the machine there are two cables labeled "Battery + right side". I attached them both to the positive terminals. Then I used the supplied short cable to attach the negatives on those 2 batteries.
No go. No power to anything. Batteries are fully charged and terminals are clean. If I plug the internal charger in, it goes through its red/green/yellow light test sequence and then the red light constantly gives 2 flashes. That indicates low voltage according to the manual.
Does anyone know what I've got goofed up or have a diagram of how these 4 batteries are hooked up? I came up with a manual here, but it only mentions battery maintenance and terminal cleaning.
I guess this knucklehead should have marked things before removal!
