We have a cabin we're finishing near Valley, WA (Waitts Lake) in the NE part of the state. Aftet two tough years with alot of snow, we figure we're going to need more than my ATV and blade to keep up with the snow. We hope to move there relatively soon once the housing crisis subsides enough to sell our house on ther west side.

I have a 204 that came with 40 hours on it. I have done only mte except for a few things that were my fault as I learned how it operated. When parts were needed I could either get them from Adams tractors in the dalles oregon, to Tommy at affordable. I have never had to wait for anything. I brush hog, move a little snow post hole dig and haven't used a wheel barrow since the Jinma arrived on my 5 acres. I couldn't be happier.

I have a Jinma 304 fel with about a hundred hours on it and every time i used it i have to take it to the shop. It does have more power than any other tractor of that size. How do you keep it running. Its mainly the fel and 3pt hitch going out. What is my problem with this tractor. The problem could be my dealer. Doe anyone what to buy this tractor?

Hello Glen1983 and welcome aboard!
Sorry to hear about your troubles. Perhaps if you could post few more details on your problems and where you are we could help you out -- the knowledge and experience of the guys on this board are incredible and have found that they take a special interest in helping others out (even though opinions sometmes vary:p). I often find that the problems have been encountered by others before and have used the board when my dealer is stumped (and for that I thank everyone).
Regards
Steve

Post more info on your problems with the 304. Probably best to start a new thread though. I have found my 254 to be a pretty robust machine, so repeated problems with the same items leads me to believe something is getting overlooked during troubleshooting. The dealer I bought my tractor, loader and backhoe from said the biggest cause of hydraulic problems they had seen were from contaminants and incorrect oils used in the system. What hydraulic fluid do you have in it?

Just got a new northern tool catalog, price on their 30 hp was 11,500[just tractor,no fel] I think, for another 1,000 or so you can get a kioti 30 hp,and they did,[may still have] a free fel deal going, just a thought.

/ Jinma Reliability #27
Yes, Northern is high but that price usally includes delivery. I have not looked at Kioti in awhile but I was thinking it was more like 18K for a 30HP unit with FEL.

I paid 13,080 [including taxes and delivery] 6 months or so ago for a ck30 gear,no loader, coulda probably talked him down a little at that but didn't try.

Now they had a free loader deal going, you'd have to ask a dealer or ask on kioti section, maybe they've went up in past 6 months? But if you could get a free loader with the ck30,even if they have went up a few hundred, that would make it CHEAPER than a nortrac 30 hp with loader.

My point to the man was once you start talking 30 hp and up and considering that the price [northerns price] is just a thousand or so less than many other brands, mahindra, kioti, etc, than your options have increased, maybe. Not bad mouthing chinese tractors.

I can not see anyone giving a free loader with any tractor. Mine cost $3500 for my 28 HP tractor and I would guess a loader for the CK 30 that is worth having would be in the $4500 range bringing the package upto the 18K or so I have seen.

well than, don't believe me,see if I.... But the fact is a fact,[as they say.] Didn't do a search did you, yeah, they was, maybe still are, giving free loaders on them kioti's,makes them a good bit cheaper than a nortrac.

Still say you can buy a 30 hp kioti[probably mahindra too] for no more than a thousand and some odd dollars more than a nortrac 30 hp,NO LOADER.Believe it or not, some don't have fel's,[and don't want one].

I have a 2006 224 and so far about 150 hrs. It has been a great little work horse using a 5' foot blade, rake and 4' brush hog.
Problems so far have been:
Hour meter clicking off the hours by the 100's in minutes.(replaced with off the shelf one from NAPA)
Decompression lever came loose from mounting.
Front axle seals leaking needing replaced.
2wd to 4wd lever hard to get into 4wd at times.
Muffler header pipe cracked due to vibration.( had to fabricate a better support for muffler)
Lots of tightening loose parts (to be expected)
Lots of misc oil leaks from fittings, plugs, etc.
For the money and size I would still recommend it only to the tool handy person.

Just read on kioti site that they are giving free loaders with tractor purchase.

Making a 30 hp kioti and loader cheaper than a nortrac 30 hp with loader!

Yeah, but apparently you didn't read all the way through to the fine print. First off, it was offered by selected dealers only, Second, it was a "holiday offer" which has since expired. Third, it was for the CK series only, and fourth - the gotcha part - it was an either/or deal; pay full retail cash price and get a "free" loader OR get low rate financing and no loader OR get a $2000 cash rebate in lieu of either the loader or the low interest rate..

As a tractor, Kioti is good. But as a deal, that isn't.

The post was today in kioti forum, right here. You'd better try and read the fine print.

Without obtaining independent corroboration, I never ever believe anything any salesman ever says on any forum anywhere. Your "free loader" claim only gains credibility when you can back it up by pointing exactly to where this alleged offer exists on a legitimate Kioti website.

Yeah,thats all true.
Never called the dealer myself, kinda looked like at a higher finance rate you get the free loader, don't know about cash, didn't sound like it though.

Just thought I'd pass that on to original poster again, since that was just posted last night.

Many people do finance their tractors, and it would just be a question of what it all boils down to at their rate verses kiotis rate to get the free loader, paying off early, etc, etc. Be worth checking into if you was planning on buying a tractor like the man said he was.

Kioti has renewed the Free loader offer on CK models (25, 27, 30, 35) and ADDED the DK series (35SE, 40SE, 45SE). The dealers cost of the loader is credited to the dealer when he orders d replacment tractor and loader from KIOTI stock. It is true that if you choose this incentive, you give up the low interest rate, or the "cash in lieu" rebate. but it is a legitimate offer and usually exceeds the value of the bought down rate. Just as the low rate is available instead of the rebate, the loader is available instead of either of those. The MSRP of a KL401 loader on a DK40 is 5200.00. that would pay a lot of interest! With the free loader, you can get a KIOTI within a couple thousand $ of chinese. The Chinese dont have provision in their pricing for rebates and low interest rates (some include delivery). So when you compare prices you need to compare the best cash deal. I have sold several Jinmas and several KIOTI, there is not a valid comparison. I have always maintained that a chinese tractor can be a good value, for the appropriatly mechinically inclined owner, so long as it is at LEAST 20% less than the Korean or Japanese built tractors. (not really any US made tractors in the 30HP class). In this economy, Cash is king, credit approvals are a little further between than they were last year. Kioti is making a smart move with this incentive. What good is 0 percent to people with less than perfect credit. I am really excited at the prices I can offer the KIOTI at the moment.
