Jinma Fuel Bowl Up-Grade

Okay, so there were problems with poor assembly technique as regards Teflon tape - that doesn't make the tape the problem it makes the USER the problem.
That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If you said it makes the manufacturer the problem, I might agree. Plus - in the circumstances I described - the tape WAS the problem. Had compound been used, dozens if not hundreds of otherwise innocent Jinma users would not have experienced teflon tape-clogged fuel and hydraulic lines.

Obviously you just don't get it and.no amount of further elucidation on my part will change that.

While I can see just replacing the plastic bowl with a glass one that would be the last route I would take. But I guess that is obvious since I put on Ronalds kit.

Using the OEM set up you still have the hidden in tank filter that is so troublesome, a leaky shut off valve which in my case would not fully shut off the flow, and a fuel line that was breaking down internally. I ran some Bio-Diesel B20 though my tractor a few years back so this may have led to this issue.

Either way Ranch Hands kit is well thought out and put together. It has all the nearly impossible Metric to SAE adapters needed along with quality fittings for the banjo bolts. This is not rocket science like some on this site like to make it out to be.

I think Ronald's kit is an excellent idea and I think you can blame me for the consternation surrounding the Teflon tape too; I don't have a problem with it in some applications, this being one of them.

I know this is an old thread- I just bought my 2006 with 25 hours on the tach. It obviously had been sitting a long time. Here's what my in tank filter looked like when I switched to this new sediment bowl kit.
