Ron M sent me some of his mods for Jinma 284. These mods apply to flip-up hood style Jinmas. Thanks Ron.

Ron's also fortunate to have purchased a model with the relocated battery box. I remoted my breather intake and added a recovery system on both my JM254s. But still had that bloody great battery blocking the bottom 1/3 of the radiator.

Hey John, thats why dealers take trade-ins! I think it is odd that with so many chinese tractors being sold, there are so few used ones on the market... Oops, don't mean to change topics mid thread....I know that never happens here!

I really like the two mods, especially the one for the coolant recovery. Thanks for posting it. BTW You have a very nice web site for posting good ideas for the Jinmas. I have referred to it many times in the past.

Ron M, who posts here regularly, did the mods. I haven't seen posts from him this week, so maybe on vacation. Anyway, he sent the text write-up and pictures sized, that it was a very quick webpage to build.
