Chipper Jinma 6inch clone chipper; flipping blades

Howdy;

I have about 3 "work" hours on my Jinma 6inch chipper. (Probably 5 hours of spin time). I flipped the blades and the bed blade just for fun, and it is chipping very well.

How many hours do you typically run a set of blades? I chip soft Ball Juniper (Cedar). The post get saved so it mostly 2 inch to fronds. No hardwood or old dry material.

Depending on what and how much you are chipping, you should be able to get a hundred hours of chipping before you have to flip the blades, now remember this is not in all cases, you can tell when the blades are starting to dull as it will drag down the RPM of the tractor

Considering I run my chipper with a Ford Golden Jubilee, I expect it to slow down when I chip 4 inch and larger. She's a good old tractor..

I save all cedar 4 inch and larger for fence post and to burn in my wood stove to heat my home.

So; really? 100 hours? My blades showed rounding on the inside. (Closest to the center) The bed blade looked very good. How would you suggest they be sharpened? I do have a spare set in hand and I know you are in the business to sell consumables; so blades = Gravy

I have had a few other issues with the chipper but nothing I cannot handle including The small pulley walking "in", rolling and breaking the cords on the drive belts, the keyway dropping out and allowing the top pulley to spin. (I got lucky and spotted the key way)

Does any one have part numbers for either a "Top Cog" commercial or Gaterback belt for the 5 drive belts?
