Jinma 4x4 drive shaft boot

I have a jinma 224. Has anybody bought a replacement rubber sleve that is in the center where the two gaurd sleeves meet. Thanks Robby

I havn't had to replace mine, but you may find a suitable rubber pipe coupler(rubber sleeve with 2 hose clamps) at the local hardware plumbing department. They come in different sizes, and even in adapter sizes to join different sizes of pipe...

Ron I thought of that, however the rubber on the tractor is about 7 inches long. I have never seen any in the plumbing dept. that long . There is a Northern tool close to where I live . I may have to order from them . I wanted something made from a little heavier material though. Robby

You might find some at stores that sell 4x4 parts ,some guys are useing rubber dust covers off of HD aftermarket 4x4 shocks.

piece of radiator hose should do.

Take the two sections to the hardware and buy a rubber pipe coupler as suggested. The one slides inside the other so you only need a few inches of rubber on each section to hold the hose clamp. I know I did this a few years back on a Jinma that had a fuel leak that caused the rubber to swell to twice its size and it worked great.

The coupler I bought was different sizes on both ends and both sides fit like that was what it was made for!

I took te thing apart today. It is a very simple fix. I will head off to the hardware or auto parts store tomorrow . Thanks all Robby

The factory one is a different size on each end, we keep them in stock,they are not very expensive.No need to re-invent the wheel
