Hello Cooper,
My dad really likes his 284.It has had a few problems like the tach and one injector. A few odd leaks,But nothing you could'nt fix with a little bit of tool smarts.Like someone else on this fourm has in his singnature "No such thing as a bad tractor,Just some are better then others"
