I need to remove the 4x4 driveshaft from my Jinma to replace Oil
Pump (with zero pressure!). I have searched the web for the best
way to do that. Some folks say push the shaft to the rear and
disconnect the front CV joint. Others - including Tommy - have
said remove from the rear CV joint. That is what I am trying to do.
But I haven't the physical strength to compress the spring and slide the
connection forward. Has anyone done that job and if so, is there
a way to get some mechanical advantage to remove (and replace)
the drive shaft without the brute strength I lack?
This Old Coot would sure appreciate any knowledge transfer you
might have.
cheers,
johnd
