I've been all over the net trying to figure this one out on my own and just seem to have something different.

I started at circle g website and looked at every clutch assembly listed and mine appears to look most like a foton.

It clearly has 3 fingers that reach down by the bearing gap appears to be about 2.8-2.9mm. there are no adjustments on top of the finger. There are another 3 finger like things that have two but adjusters, but no fingers going to the bearing.

In the following pic the bolts at the top and bottom, must bolt the assembly to the tractor. The nut in the middle is actually under a finger. I'm at a loss.

Any ideas?

Okay, I solve my problem I do indeed have a 6 finger clutch. And you don't adjust those like you do every other than the clutch it seems.

The first step is to adjust your linkage and then if your main clutch throwout clearance is out of measurement you can adjust your main clutch. Like most other Jen has its 2.5 millimeters on that main clutch adjustment. It's not so clear but underneath the main clutch fingers is a square shaft with a nut on it you can hold that square shaft and turn the nut for that adjustment.

On the PTO clutch that adjust very similar to every other clutch there's a little stop nut and then you can adjust a very slight turn counting the turns as you go. And he said that Gap to 6.5 millimeter behind the main throwout bearing.

So I guess the summary is it adjustable it just takes a long time to figure out exactly where your fingers are and how to measure them because they are not accessible from the same location you would adjust you actually have to rotate the clutch around a little bit and then you can get both fingers main clutch and a PTO clutch at the same time.

Of course after all that stuff and learning the principles and everything else I found out that the roll pin on my clutch shaft linkage had Sheard.

And after all the b******* I went through I decided to go ahead and GAP those fingers anyway and they were all right on.
