Jinma 254 gear change while moving

Hey guys,
I have a question regarding shifting gears on my Jinma 254 while it's moving. I can't seem to get a smooth gear change. I have tried double clutching, changing at different RPMs etc but it's still not smooth. Is it even designed to change gears while moving? I would have thought so. I'm a large scale crop farmer so I drive heavy duty machinery all day, not use to the size or build quality of the little Jinma. Thanks for any ideas you may have.

I should note - the clutch feels and acts perfectly normal in every other instance so I don't believe that's my issue.

Generally I always am stopped when changing gears. It's not a syncro, just a crash box. I have done it but not too often. Usually in hi range 2-3 or 3-4. Low range never necessary.

That's what I've been doing as well as it didn't like shifting while on the move. I only occasionally shift from 2 to 3 in high range, and only if I'm going a long distance. It takes off in 2nd High no problem but 3rd High you would have to ride the clutch too much.

Low range isn't a problem, I find that 3 Low does most things I want, 1 and 2 are almost too low.

My Jinma has High/Low with 3 speed gearbox. Shuttle shift F/R.

The transmission and gear case gears are all spur cut. They are not designed to shift-on-the-fly. There are no synchros.
However, not saying it can't be done with a lot of practice.
