Jinma 204 seat and sciatic nerve

The headline says it all. Seems my Jinma is causing my sciatic nerve problem. Even gave up seat time for two weeks to confirm what the doc said. So any ideas suggestions for a replacement seat? Cause I ain't given up the tractor

Not fun that's for sure. I would try checking into a boating seat. They make many more styles, types, pricing for boats than tractors.

a few years ago I bought a special seat for the front of my little bass boat, big difference in back health, use to be in a lot of pain after an hour, with the new seat, was able to relax and fish for hours. Couldn't tell you the brand, but there are many seats available.

If the seat on my deere caused me discomfort ( it's a good seat for me) I'd check into making something else fit.

Do you have the spring seat that comes on the newer LE style tractors or the ridgid mounted seat?? We sell the Jinma spring seats which are very nice and adjustable for weight

My 254s came with the spine compacter too. It was dead simple to replace them with this cheapie: Rural King Farm and Home Internet Store

Wow Greg, thats a lot cheaper than a top line boat seat. If it supports the back and makes seat time enjoyable, would be a very inexpensive upgrade.

I just installed that very same seat Greg posted on my Kama 554. Except I bought it at Agri-Supply for the same price. Of course I got the Red color. I also added a swivel feature to the seat and a straight forward lock in position. I use both. I especially like the adjustable seat cushion part comfort and the slider feature.

It's better than the back breaking butt bucket that came with the Jinma, but still a long way from comfortable. My KM454 came already equipped with a suspension seat, a Chinese knock-off of the German Grammer seat.

But don't get the Chinese version, the vinyl is not UV-resistant and the suspension squeaks like crazy. I had to spend more than the seat was worth to get it reupholstered last year. If I had to do it all over again, I'd have simply replaced it with a genuine Grammer. And don't be fooled by the ones that say "Grammer Style ". Those are the knock-offs.
