I have been trying to time a new injector pump, I have set it up as instructed but it only starts for a few minutes and stalls, i have never timed a ijector pump like this and I am wondering if I am doing it right, does anyone have any info that could help. I have timing marks on front crank pulley but no marks on flywheel.

did you bleed ALL the air out first?

Sounds like to me you have the check valve in the wrong spot. There is a hollow bolt on the front side and backside of the injector pump that holds the fuel lines on, the bolt in the front should have a check valve in the center of that bolt, if you find that bolt is on the backside of the pump switch those 2- bolts around .How did you set your timing ? I guess you did not buy the pump from us ?
