The spare tire on the vehicle is flat now; the one hanging underneath. I wonder what happened to it.

I had a brand new spare on my Ranger go flat. I installed a plastic toolbox across the front of the bed and it started leaking after a few years. It had a couple inches of water in it so I just took an ice pick and poked a couple of drain holes it the bottom. Yep, my spare tire was laying under the toolbox.

81 or so?

For me it is more about how many tires are flat at any particular moment or need replacing.

Most spring's with the mowing business it is about one flat tire per day, some days can get depressing.
