JD5303 hydrolics overheats and melts fueltank

My JD5303 hydrolics overheated and melted the fuel tank. I took it to be fixed. They replaced the tank and some seals that melted but did not find a reason for the problem and can not tell me what a normal temperature of the block under the fuel tank should be.
