Have global on a 6430 Premium / 673 Loader getting the global carrier latch to pull it is more difficult to do than walking around the attachment and removing 2 linch pins on a JD 5420 / 541 Loader. Sometimes the Global Carrier Latch will go back in if you didn't pull it out all the way and it seems to happen almost every time I get back into the seat.

.
I like the JD 500 carrier more than a global. But the JD 600 sucks, so global is a better option than a JD 600. But JD 500 is better than a global in my book. Both loaders require getting off and on 2 times.
JD 500 Operation
1. Remove linch pins
2. Get back on and put attachment down
3. Pick up attachment and get off and put the linch pins back on.
Global Carrier Operation
1. Get off and pull latch with a good amount of effort.
2. Get back on and put attachment on, and grab the second one
3. Get off and use your foot to push down and in on the carrier latch and it will go back in.
Also the Global Carrier system is easy to get dirty and possibly damaged if your doing any digging or back filling with the bucket it will easily get dirt trapped into the mid section of the Carrier Latch system
