Hi have an JD4600. The fuel solenoid does not work properly, in that, if I run the tractor above half throttle. The next time I go to start the tractor. I will NOT start. I have found that the fuel solenoid gets oil in it and will have to clean it by a paper towel and manually operating the switch. This works for about 3 to 5 starts- then I have to repeat.
Does anyone have any solutions? I have already purchased 3 new solenoid switches over the life of the tractor. Plus, I'm getting VERY tried of cleaning this switch.
