JD4400 Purchase

I'm looking at a JD4400 and the guy wants 14.9K. Here is what the deal is.

- 2001 JD4400 Hydro w/under 400 hours
- Brand New 300x loader w/bucket
- 72" mower deck w/3rd SCV
- Brand new turf tires and rims
- Brand new Lienbach post hole digger w/9" auger

Over all the tractor looks to be in well care for shape. Stored under cover. Does this sound like a good deal?

That sounds good, but not far off from what a 4310-4410 seems to be at. The big diff would be the eHydro, which is a big plus. Not to mention newer machines. I would check www.machinefinder.com to check what is similar in your area.

There are usually a alot more 4300, 4310s which are only 3Hp less, and will usually do the same as a 4400.

But, the 4400 deal is certainly not far off on a nice machine.

I am getting my 4400 tomorrow and here is the deal I got.
1998 4400 hydro with 200 hrs
new 300x loader
new industrial tires (it had turfs)
72" belly mower
box blade

Delivered 4 hours away for 16k

So I would say that is a pretty good deal.
