Price Check JD4310 pricing

I just test drove a JD 4310 at my local JD dealer. This beauty was smooth as silk compared to the JD 4300 hydro I tested last year. The 4310 had 4wd, folding rops, e-hydro, match speed, mid pto, R4 tires, dual selection valve and svc. The quote for the machine was $16,000, $3100 for a 430 loader, $2200 for a mid 60" mower, and $990 for a 60" Jd brush hog. I'm just wondering if this pricing is good or do I need to do some dealing?

I just found a $1,200 introductory offer on the JD website for the 4x10 series tractors. $700 off the tractor and $500 off 2 implements. I called JD directly and they said this price was off the dealers everyday price not the retail price. I called the dealer who was not aware of the offer. He looked into it and said it was valid. I'm going in on Monday to buy my deere. I'll let you know if the deal goes through (fingers crossed).

I don't know where you are located but the following are the prices I recieved in the Northeast:

4310 4WD, Tall Folding ROPS, EHydro, Oversized R4 Tires, Dual Mid SCV W/Joystick +Single rear SCV W/Lever, Rockshaft W/3 point hitch, iMatch Quick-Hitch System, Engine Coolant Heater, 2 Rear Work lights, Forward Ligthting Kit w/light Brush Guards Kit...$17,100.
JD 430 Loader W/4 in 1 Bucket, XTra Armor Kit incl Hood and Grill Guard w/acessories, 3rd function Hydraulic lines and hoses... $4,500.(4in1 bucket is $1,200 extra but included in the $4,500).
JD 48 Backhoe, Mounting frame and attaching parts for 4310, power beyond kit, 18" bucket... $6,500.

By the way.... It is the best price I recieved from any JD dealer... the best part is that this is they (KC Canary in Fultonville NY) is the "BEST" dealer I incountered of all... boy am I lucky!
Best advice... if after you do all of the comparisons... go with the best dealer even if they do not have the best price! Don't forget... you have to live with the tractor and the dealer.

By the way the prices I quoted in my post to you did not include the rebate that I am getting... so subtract $1,000 from the total!

I concur with Jim on the two points he makes. I'm also buying a JD4710 from KC-Canary, Fultonville. I shopped five different dealers....they gave me best price. Also, they're giving me the $1,000 rebate. KC-Canary is a John Deere Performance Excellance Dealership, the only one in New York State and only 1 of 3 in the entire northeast US.
