Tires JD4120 - R4 Tire Cost (front)?

Anyone know the approximate cost of a new factory replacement R4 type tire for a JD 4120 tractor?

I did a search and really didn't find anything. You might want to check with your dealer.

Here's one place. From what I saw it seems a 10.00-16.5 R4 is one of the standard skidsteer sizes. These are 10 ply rating where yours are 6 ply. Just do a search for R4 industrial tires or type in the size and search. I came up with hundreds of hits. This was the first that had a price though. I'm sure if you want to stay with 6 ply they will probably be a little less than these.

Thanks. That's not too bad. They should last for many years. I recently got some slices in mine from metal that was buried in the ground and my tires spun on it as I was trying to dig it out. So far they're ok but just don't look so great. As long as they don't start leaking we'll be good.

I purchased a replacement front tire for my 4120 in November from Tires Unlimited.

Paid 107.03 total shipped to my home. Tire alone was 84.02.

While I was looking for a Titan, I ended up getting a Carslile Tracchief. Tire is identical except for the name.

Dave at TU had special pricing on the Carslile at the time. I've no idea if that pricing still stands, but you could give him a try. He gave me a good price on the Titan as well, but did not have it in stock at the time.
