Price Check JD3320 Price and stuff

Hello all!!,
I am learing a whole bunch on this site being new and all to this stuff. I am looking to get a JD tractor, started as a 3120 but that seems to be not the way to go from what I read here. I have a few acre in need of a bunch of help at my house and lots of bones. I will have the heavy work done by an excevator and this will be for smaller type work. Planting trees, snow removal, grading, electric trenches and such. The big thing is price, I want everyone to earn a living but not an insane profit at my expense. This site seems to say 15% off list is a good figure to work to. The guy I am going to, who I like is at 10% and seems firm there. I am not in the biz of insulting people nor breaking the back of guys in business so I just need some advice. Keeping in mind, I am a fast sale and no bull$%^& what is a fair price for a 3320, 447 hoe, 300CX heavy duty73"? loader, power beyond and turf tires? I try to figure out the list on the JD site and that "seems" to not be adding the loader in....pretty confusing. Anyhow, what other options do I need to make this set up work, things like grill guards and stuff are in there "I think" but again somewhat confusing. Any help would be ....helpful

I am unsure what 3320's are going for, but I bought my 3720 with mid pto and auto cruise and a 300cx loader with the hd bucket for 22,000 out the door.

Welcome to TBN. I can't comment on the price situation other than to say go with the dealer you like, not just price. I would recommend taking a look at the 448 hoe. It would be $1000 well spent over the 447. Also, I have a 61" bucket on my 3520 and the 73" sounds way too big. The 61" will cover your tires and in unworked soil I think a bigger bucket will be an encumberance. If your primary use is moving piles of mulch or loose topsoil that would be a good reason to have the larger bucket. My dealer threw in the grill guard, but I highly recommend it. It took one good whack already that would have busted the headlights and hood for sure. Why turf tires? I am very happy with the R4 tires (I got the larger size) but you can find a great deal of discussion on this in other threads without getting this one off topic. You mentioned snow removal. If you want a plow consider having the dealer at the 3rd SCV option and plumbing on the loader. I have the 12/12 transmission and far prefer it to hydro. It saved about $1500 if I recall correctly. I highly recommend work lights for the rear (DIY is an option); I was digging out stumps after dark last weekend. I have two lights mounted above the flashers. If I was doing loader work after dark I would also like to have a pair of lights hung below the ROPS since the bucket crosses the headlights and creates blind spots. Don't forget to budget for the attachments. Half of my purchase was the tractor and loader. The rest was for the backhoe, chipper, snowblade, rear blade, rototiller, rake, forks and grapple. You're looking at a great machine. I have more comments in JD owning/operating in a thread called 3520 first impressions.

The best deal I could come up with for my 3320 and 300c FEL was $18,645. I called every dealer in the state and visited several, this was the best I could do. There is a grill guard that come with the FEL it is nice but there is a delux guard, I'm not sure it is worth the extra money. My tractor has the
R4 tires and they have worked great.

Sound like with the heavier FEL and BH you are getting a good price from what I'm told around my parts.

From my perspective the deluxe guard is worth the money. I was working in brush and pushed a sapling right through the grill on my old tractor. I think the new deluxe guard would prevent this type of accident. JMHO

Well I think I have some better idea of what I need now. I always "buy the guy" as it were and wontr quibble over a grand if I think it is a good place. I want them to be in business when I need them next time. I just wish it was as easy as with a car when you can get the figures from Consumer reports and then you know what is fair. I will do the new configuration and see what they can do for me. I am still looking for more input so any readers please continue to reply

+1+1 for the deluxe grill guard. Wraps around and will stop smaller objects than the standard grill.

I'd suggest the 3rd SCV, loaded tires, and a toothbar.

On the 447 vs 448 hoe. I have the 447 with the 20" bucket. The 447 has no problem lifting my tractor with loaded rear tires off the ground. The 447 because it is lighter. I can put it on a cart in my pole barn and move it out of the way, which I don't think I could do with the 448 hoe since it weighs 500 pounds more. Also it lighter for transporting on a trailer.
