JD3020 salvage value

I have a JD 3020 with a bad engine - I was wondering what the salvage value would be. I put new rear tires on it 2 years ago & it has a Farmhand bucket

Depends on if someone wants it or not. Scrap is at $260 a ton. A new/rebuilt engine will run (plus installation) almost what the tractor would bring if the engine wasn't ventilated.

Year? Pictures? It is all relative. You may find someone in "need" of parts/pieces that may be willing to pay a premium for a good condition. With the 64-72 production it is getting to the point that certain people "collect" drastically increasing value. This is also geographically determinative. (Factor in Mexico/Waterloo, gas/diesel/lp, amongst other things.)

When you say bad engine can you be more specific?

As others mention, depends on lots of other criteria. You may want to consider a used engine too, depends on what condition the rest of the tractor is in.
