I presently have a JD 455 with 40 loader and 47" snowblower with quick hitch.Dealer offered me a 2210 with fel quick hitch and rear hydralics as I plan to put a woods backhoe on it.My tractor and $4000. is that a decent deal. Would appreciate any advice. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Can't tell much from your profile, and regional influences on pricing will vary, but that may be a good deal. How many hours on the 455? Are you planning on keeping the 47 blower on the 2210? What about MMM's?

Still not sure about the MMM (mid mount mower) part, but the 2210 should be about $9500, the loader $1500, and the quick hitch $500. So it's like saying your 455 is worth $8000, which may not be that bad of a deal (I know you have more than that into it). You will sure get more performance out of the 210 loader, and you also are gaining 4WD, so it may be worth it.

I should have given more specifics to get a better opinion I guess..here goes my second try..sry guys I am new at this..My JD455 is a 1999 model with 725 hours on it..condition is almost mint..mmm is 3 weeks old it is a 54" mulcher compatible deck..rear tires are loaded with windshield washer fluid..has new wheel weights and chains..has rear weight bar with 6 suitcase weights...40 loader has less then 50 hours use..new in the box 47" 2 stage snowblower with quick hitch..and 54" blade..DEALER wants $4500. and my tractor with everything but blade weights and chains for the 2210.

A year ago I traded in a 10+ year old 425 w/just over 700 hrs on it, 3PH, 54" MMM, and front quik-tach against a 2210. The dealer discounted the 2210 and attachments 16% and gave me $4500 for the trade-in.
