Thanks for that bit of info. There's an independent dealer locally I may ask about. I'm thinking the bulk of that $3500 was for the clutch and bearing replacement, but yeah, that's quite a bit. When I had it apart, it wasn't that hard, I think it took me about 6 hours to get it apart and a couple days to get it back together, I finally figured out if I put a little tension on the 2 halves with a come-along, it went back together, I couldn't get the splines lined up right otherwise. I just don't want to do that kind of stuff anymore.

I don't think the hyd oil is getting into the engine, it doesn't get overfilled from usage, oil level actually goes down as it leaks out.

I looked into fixing the PS leak one time, but I couldn't figure out how easy/hard it was, I've got the books, but they don't explain that good if you're not familiar with it. It leaks out the top of the PS assy a little. I did buy a bunch of seals but couldn't figure out how to get it apart. If someone could help me there???

I did install a new oil pan gasket with some permatex ultra black and so far it looks good. The gasket that was in there was just a paper one and no sealant on it, plus some of the bolts were not even hand tight. Hopefully it's better now. I've also been checking the oil level when cold and keeping it at the top mark when cold. Maybe now it won't even go down.
