jd180 quits after 30min. of mowing

I start mowing, runs great. 30-45min. later it wants to quit.
I have to jack the throttle back and forth to get it to the barn.
i have replaced-gas cap,fuel pump,ignitor,fuel filter,air filter,plug,took carb
off and cleaned. could the coil be getting hot and quitting?
i think that is my next step since i already bought the coil.
i dont know what to do next.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I believe the coil is the culprit. Do you lose spark when it quits? All those other things you did could have been avoided if you would have checked for spark. Not in vain though, they may have needed changed/cleaned anyhow.
