1974 MODEL 112 runs fine for about 15 minutes then acts like it runs out of gas let it sit for about a minute or two starts back up in a run for about another 20 minutes can anybody help me.

Hiya,

Most likely a plugged fuel tank vent. I believe the vent is in the cap on these models. When it dies again, open the hood and slowly take the cap off while you listen for the sound of air getting sucked into the tank, if you hear air going in as the cap breaks the seal, you have found your issue. Either clean the vent or get a replacement cap.

that's what I thought too second time I left the cap loose and start mowing again in about 10 to 15 minutes it quit again but it said about a minute
