I have a jd 112( around a 1975 ) that has a hydralic lift. i had to put about a half pint of hyd. oil to fill the tank , still will not lift the snowblower. Anything else i should check to see why the hyd. are not working ??? Thnx Dave

is it leaking oil? is the hydraulic cylinder working when you actuate the cylinder? is the drive belt slipping that goes from the engine to the pump?

Thnx for the reply. Got er fixed yesterday. Did a little tweeking , and whalla everything working. Hydralics and snowblower are working nicely. Snowblower is pretty loud. Maybe because of the chain drive auger. Will have to tweek on it a bit. Dave

take the chain cover off the RH side of the blower and make sure its tight. Shouldnt sag more than 1/2 inch or so. adjustment is on the RH side of the mount. Its on the shaft from the drive pulley. Give the shaft and the chain a couple shots of multipurpose grease.
