I have a 2010 JD 445 zero turn mower with 159 hours on it. It has the 25 HP Kawasaki engine. I live on the side of
a big hill so all of the mowing is on a hillside. While I was mowing today I noticed the right wheel gradually start to
lose power. Within a couple of minutes it would barely pull itself up the hill and I started to smell something burning.
I stopped, backed it up and it took back off forward. It seemed to have more power to that wheel after I backed up and
restarted. I took it up, cleaned everything up with a pressure washer and tried it again. I tried to take it up a little hill
and it wouldn't pull itself up.
Hopefully someone has experience with this and can help me out.
Thanks in advance!

With power to only one wheel of a zero turn, you must just go in circles.

When you mow your hillside, do you just go up and down, and not across the slope?

I can mow across, @ a 45 degree angle or up and down. It really isn't hard to control.

But now like you mentioned only circles. :)
