JD X500 and 62" Deck?

Hello all,
I have about 3 acres to mow and am looking at the x500 with a 54" deck as a first tractor. The primary use will be mowing, but maybe some light towing of a cart, maybe a blade for occasional snow. I do not see it as an option for the 62' deck but was wondering if this could be swapped for the 54" to speed up mowing and have more reach on the sides. The price jump to an X700 is pretty steep. Any ideas would be appreciated.

JD does not have any decks larger than 54" for
todays X500 tractors. The 60 and 62" decks are
all shaft drive, and the X500 does not have the
mid pto to run it.
If you really want the 62, look for a year or 2 old
X700 with that deck on it, you should be able
to find one close by.

The employees get a discount and lots of them trade to a new one every year. They also ship to your door nationwide. I have priced them before and they are hard to beat.
