Greetings : I've been looking far and near on the cyber treads trying to find 4wd specifics. Been a 4wd drive owner for 40 of my 60. Truck and tractor. All been get wet and lock to the toggle from the cab lock. Up to this point I have known the do's and wish I didn't do's. Well I cannot determine whether the new JD 758 4wd will be able to cut grass while turn and return on dry pavement. It appears it is full time. Any you folks have any suggestions or comments. I have posted in other threads so disregard if noticed. Thanks

It has full time all wheel drive. The front wheels are hydraulically powered and the hydraulic flow to them is adjusted as you turn. There are details of the system under the features section on this web page in the steering section.

Thanks, worried if the drive train will bind up, or wheel hop on dry pavement, coming off grass and onto pavement tight turn back to grass. My 4110 will bounce and bind a little. Dodge would dig up pavement if you know what I mean. JD website does not mention do or don't.

Not a problem, you can drive on pavement and turn as tight as you need. I do that very thing frequently while mowing. Being a hydraulic drive fed from the rear hydrostatic axle the fluid system has relief valves to help compensate for this. MFWD is more problematic with wheel hop. Mowers typically do alot of turning so the hfwd is a good choice for this. As Cobracnvt mentioned the front wheels speeds are adjusted with a linkage to the steering allowing the wheel in the outside of the turn to turn faster and the inside wheel to turn slower. This pretty much eliminates wheel scuffing in tight turns too.
