JD seats on Ebay...

There are a lot of seats available for the 670 thru 1070 and similar applications. The prices are all over the board..!? Have you bought one?

There's a nice high back .. but doesn't that make it even harder to look behind the tractor? A few suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just bought one for my 770 on ebay. New seat from dealer was about $265. I spent about $160, nice seat and ready to install. But the SMV bracket on the new seat had different hole spacing than my original seat so right now my SMV sign is hanging from the top bolt only.

Just bought a seat for my JD 650 from JD dealer for about $165. I figured I would get the seat made for that tractor and it would be easier to mount up. My father in law ( previous owner) had used a cub cadet seat mounted to plywood. It wobbled and made it very difficult to get on and off of the tractor. All new parts for mounting my seat, new bushings, and pin seemed well worth it to me. The only thing I didnt replace was the seat springs, but the more I think about it, the more I might now.
