JD Offers New CV Guards For HPX & XUV

I was wondering if anyone had installed these yet on a HPX machine. It says on the Deere website that it was available only for the '07 model year HPX gators and later, but I didn't know why they wouldn't work on my '06? I didn't think they really changed anything. What do you guys think?

I am sure that they will work on the 06'. I have the full set on my new XUV; All four corners and the belly plate also.....................Roger

I haven't really noticed on mine if I have a skid plate underneath or not. Does anyone know if it's standard?

Don't know if it is standard on the diesels or not, but it wasn't on the gasser of mine............Bought mine from my dealer as a complete kit; Corners and Belly Pan..................Roger

I had to buy the skid plate for my XUV seperate as well.
They didn't offer the cv guards when I purchased mine.

I think the skid plate may come standard on the diesel..

Front CV Guard- BM22612

Rear CV Guard- BM22613


So, does anyone know if the skid plate is standard on the HPX Diesel?

Yes it is. Take a look under the rear of your HPX, that big droopy piece of black metal is the skid plate. Now I would also like to know if we can get these CV guards as I've already killed two of my CV boots and killed a drive shaft as a result as well.

I'm going to try them. I figure I can get them to fit. Can't be that much difference between an '07 and earlier model HPX's.
