JD Model A 1936-1939 tractor value

I have some old farm equipment... a JD Model A 1936-1937 tractor and the plow that came with it, another old plow, a Van Brunt grain drill, an old forge, endgate seeder, and several other items. A local farmer offered $3000 for everything and not sure if this is a fair price or not... wondering if anyone has suggestions on the best way to determine fair value and if this isn't a fair price, how how to sell it.

What is "fair" is what you are satisfied with in the end. Makes little difference what others think, IMO.

If you want to keep it, instead of having $3000 in your pocket... that is fair.

We have no idea what condition any of this equipment is in, so maybe $3000 is very unfair to the local farmer.

Put it on eBay with pics, and let the traffic on eBay get you more or less, and the local farmer can put in his bid and maybe get it for less or have to shell out much more.
