JD Model 44

I recently accquired a JD Model 44 plow that is in decent useable condition. What years were these plows manufactured? What was the paint scheme? Is there manuals available for this model plow? It is a 2x12 and I'll be pulling it behind an early styled JD B at antique machinery events. The restoration will be to a working not for display. Thanks Steve

I'm looking for a couple books for confirmation, but I THINK they were made from 1950 to 1953. The bottoms changed in 53 to the HSS bottom. The 44 became the 444. If I ever find the books I'm looking for, I'll try to get more info on paint detailing.
