John Deere LA140
I have a JD LA140 lawn tractor. It runs great until I try going up my back yard hill... I replaced the traction belt but still have the same problem...
Any ideas on whta the problem might be...

Thx

Is one wheel spinning and the other stopped? The LA140 has no differential lock and the tires don't have a lot of traction. If the transmission is slipping, I recommend you read this thread about rebuilding the K46 transmission. You may not need a full rebuild, but may be able to drain and/or add fluid.

:welcome: to TBN. I hope you post back with more details and how you solve your problem. Others may have better ideas also. Mine is just one possibility.:)

Welcome Steeler.

Some additional information would be helpful such as year and number of hours on the unit.
