I have a Deere 4120 with the electro hydraulic 3rd SCV with the switch on the loader joystick. The switch has a detent in the down position that holds the valve open. Could I plug a regular OC 2 spool valve in to this SCV to control the cylinders on my stump grinder? Is there any problem holding the solenoid open for an extended period of time? This would be a bit of a kludge but it would save the expense of buying the Deere power beyond option.
