JD 955 stalled and won't start

I was mowing out back and the mid-mower went over a large root and stalled the tractor and now it won't start. Anyone experienced this before. I've had it stall while using the loader and it starts right up again but this time it won't. Ignition lights come on but it's almost like the safety switch is still activated. Any ideas?

Thank you for the reply. I did the on/off a couple of times and it still does not start. If I turn the ignition on and sit on the seat I do hear a click behind the dash so I'm guessing the safety is being activated. Typically if you get off the tractor with the mower still running it will stop but the tractor will still be running as normal. Then you have to reset the mower start/stop lever to activate the mower pto.

It started. Who knows why, but God I guess. I let it sit for an hour after I power washed and cleaned the whole thing, asking God to do the rest. Went out and it started perfectly. LOL
