3-Point Hitch JD 850 3 point lift capacity ?

I plan buy a disc/harrow for my JD 850. It weighs 790 pounds. Anyone know what the 3 point lift capacity of a JD 850 would be? I have a bush hog that weights 560 pounds. It lifts that easily. I could go hook that up and have a big guy stand on the back to see what it does with 800 pounds, but I'm 285 miles away !!

How big is the harrow the weight seems high? I have a 850MFWD with a 6' drag harrow it is "working" with that after plowing.

It's the heavy duty moel sold by Tractor Supply. It is 6 1/2 foot wide, weights 790 pounds and is a 3 pt hitch model. My mower weighs 560 pounds and the 3 pt can easily lift that, so I'm probably OK, but wanted to make sure before I buy the disc/harrow.

You say yours is a drag harrow; is it a 3 point setup or a hitch setup? Does it have wheels, or do you use the 3pt to lift it in and out of the ground?

Mine hooks to the drawbar. It does not lift out of the ground there was sort of a transporter frame that was used to go over the road between fields. I cannot put my hands on my specs at this minute but the new JD about the same size rates theirs at 990 lbs.
