jd 830 diesel

I just had a independent jd service person rebuilt my 830 jd 3 cyl diesel motor. The motor does great, but the hood does not mount back as it should. It is about 1/2 inch short of meeting the front tabs to hold the hood down. Everything fit great before the engine rebuild. I've check all the tractor from the cowl panels forward and cannot find anything missing or out of order. Any Suggestions?? CarterA

Have you loosened the rear attaching bolts? Does hood fit over fuel & radiator necks correctly?
