Took delievery of my tractor today. What a tractor I love it.First thing I did was go and finish a job I started a few weeks ago befor my other tractor broke. I do have the other one repaired already I broke the right fornt axel clean off, so now I have 2 tractors to work with. I am putting in a drive way for a customer and tonight I was able to move about 20 yards of rocks dirght and roots and I picked up the tractor at 5:30 eastren tome and I quit at 8:00.I love this thing I will attach some pictures when I get a chance Rich....

Hey, congrats Rich. Glad to hear you like the 790. I'll be curious to hear how it holds up under commercial use. One of our local rental yards has a 790 in their fleet, along with a variety of tph implements. What tires are on yours? How many hours. We want pictures /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Well It has 6hrs on it and something went BANG! in the front end.
Not sure what went but the left front wheel keeps locking up on it, so the dealer will have it back on tuesday!!
It was doing great until that point pulled 44 shrubs on the job that I was on,cleaned/raked the beds all this in 7hrs.
I did some with the bucket and some with the backhoe.
I hope the dealer can repair it quick or let me use a demo I have a ton of work to do, main reason for buying a new machine.
I will keep everyone posted as to what broke.

Let us know what happened. I have a 790 with 270 hours on it, and haven't had a lick of trouble with it. I don't have a BH attachment, though. (next toy on the list)

Ok the dealer has pulled apart the front end, that was the culprit. It seems that the spur gear in the left cluster has let go and took six teeth out on the large gear and two teeth on the small gear. At this time the dealer does not know how this happen, maybe an air bubble in the casting??? What ever caused it thank goodnes it wasn't me.. The dealership has been wonderful right from the time I steped in to the front door to look at a tractor. The dealers name is Midstate Tractor in Middletown Connecticut, and the salesmans name is Brad. Good people!!! I was there at about 7:45am this morning and before I left the store they were already working to get my tractor fixed. Thanks Guys
